Hayfever
music and lyrics by K (May 1995)
K: programming, synths, guitars, vocals
As i am walking down the street a million faces catch my eye, a million
people waiting for the bus that’s a million people just wasting time.
I won’t take your freedom just stay around here, hayfever’s coming well i
don’t need it i don’t want it anyway don’t break this rhythm whatever it
takes i’ll make you understand i won’t take your freedom oh stay around here.
And so i’m trying to find out what it is that i’m feeling the same as the day
before people walk around people talk around people turn around everywhere
i go.

A walk in the city
music and lyrics by K (October 1995)
K: programming, synths, guitars, vocals
The rain has washed away all the pain and all the sorrow
though memory fades so fast, what will it be like tomorrow?
I watch you fade away, what was it that made you cry?
I watch you fade away, what was it that made you lie?
The fog has disappeared, my eyes can truly see behind
every colour of every eye and what they’ve in their minds.
I watch you fade away, was it me that made you cry?
I watch you fade away, was it me that made you shy?
I take a walk in the city (to clear my mind an ease my pain)
take a walk in the city.
The sun will shine on through will shine on through for me and you
and eventually it will shine for others too
I watched her fade away through leaf and tree
I watched her fade away away from me.

Early autumn falls
music and lyrics by K (September 1995)
K: guitars, vocals, programming, keyboards
The colour of the evening enlightens your face so warm
with a sunset that is bleeding i am touching your arm.
Again the hot days are over, again it’s getting dark too soon
again i’m kissing your shoulder, again autumn’s really in bloom
and as we’re walking beneath the leaves the forest is changing we hear the sound
they will soon be gone now the birds and the bees, we’re looking around.
Close your eyes and drink the last rays of this year’s sun.
***
the colour of the evening appears on your face, and i think your beauty’s growing from fall to fall

3 Poems
music by K. Poems by J.R.R. Tolkien from “The lord of the rings” (October 1995)
K: programming, synths, vocals
1.
Ho! Ho! Ho! To the bottle I go
to heal my heart and drown my woe
rain may fall and wind may blow
and many miles be still to go
but under a tall tree I will lie
and let the clouds go sailing by.
2.
Out of doubt, out of dark, to the day’s rising
he rode singing in the sun, sword unsheathing.
Hope he rekindled, and in hope ended;
over death, over dread, over doom lifted
out of loss, out of life, unto long glory.

Romance
music and lyrics by K (January 1995)
K: programming, synths, vocals
Winter brought the first fall of snow all on new years day
and I wasn’t prepared for all the things to come then since new year’s day, since that day.
Although it’s just one week, I’m waiting for your call, maybe I wasn’t home?
And though it questions me, was it just a crazy flirt? I do want more.

Pink
music by K and William White, lyrics by William White (July 1994)
K: programming, synths, lead guitar (middle to end), backing vox
W.W.: programming, synths, lead (beginning) and rhythm guitars, lead and backing vox, vocoder
How can it be you don’t like what you see I don’t know. Burning your eyes all the junk that you’ve
tried hard to throw. Think what you think that we’re perfectly pink it’s all pride. Laugh if you want
but tell me is it warm outside?
Hope - take my hand.
Burn baby Burn, a memory turned into mine. Turn it’s your turn, oh the wheels that you’ve earned
it’s your time. Smile. It’s your smile, of a spoilt little child it will grow. You’ve learned all you can
they said run, oh you ran I should know.

Free
music and lyrics by K (September 1995)
K: guitars, programming, vocals, synths
the orange lights are fading fast as a new day arises. Climbing lazy behind the hills this fat old
light we call the sun. The sun is making way for a new moon to arise, bringing the chill I’ve been
waiting for and the chance to undress you. Heart is beating always fast as a new love arises, and
sometimes hard to say goodbye to the ones that we once had.

A day by the sea
music and lyrics by K (October 1995)
K: programming, synths, vocals
Just recently I dreamt how it could be to take you by the hand and lead you to the sea
kicking sheets in the streets, dust blowing around us, noises of cars would slowly fade away.
We’ll sing in the sunshine, we’ll dance in the moonlight, we’ll walk in the wind, we don’t mind
the rain. Forever might be today and there’s something more to say.
The flood is coming up and the sky is turning red the smell of salt is floating in our heads, and
soon the day is done and we’re still becoming old, sometimes I wish we could turn back the clock.

Mary Lane
music and chorus lyric by K (June 1995)
spoken words sampled from the film “Reefer Madness” (USA, ca. 1935)
K: programming, synths, guitar, vocals

Eventually (Old friends)
music and lyrics by K (July 1995)
K: guitars, programming, synths, vocals
Old friends are the best friends, that’s not to say that new friends are bad friends
old wine is the best wine, that’s not to say that new wine is bad wine
eventually new friends become old friends, eventually new wine becomes old wine.
Old trees are the best trees, that’s not to say that new trees are bad trees
old roads are the best roads, that’s not to say that new roads are bad roads
eventually new trees become old trees, eventually new roads become old roads.
Eventually it seems the way that it is, eventually ,but it seems to be impossible,
there’s people out there who think that they’re left on the shelf.

Moonman
music and lyrics by K (June 1995)
K: programming, synths, guitars, vocals, balinese flute
Moonman, say hello to mother earth where everybody knows you yet nobody has seen you.
Moonman, don’t you think it’s time to show up and get away from the silence of your home?
You could be in the magazines, you could be on the news, you could sell your story of how
it all began. There’s a place where everybody would like to meet you.
There’s a time when doing wrong would seem so right.
Moonman, lead your life so far away not even knowing the reason why we turn around.
Moonman, sing us the song of your home, we’d like to get some inspiration, expiration, new
translations. You could...
Moonman, everybody has gone away there’s no reason to be sad or to feel bad.
Moonman, now that you got to know the earth, wouldn’t it be nice to fly away again?
There’s a cloud that you could call your own, there’s a place that you could call your home,
and there is space where you came from.
There’s a time when doing right would seem so wrong.

Shot in your face
music and lyrics by K (July 1995)
K: programming, guitars, vocals
I am just a simple man, don’t you know that’s who I am
Everything about me is just simple as I am
Simplicity is everything you need in these days
just don’t try to think or you’ll get lost in a haze
everywhere you go you could get a shot in your face.
Just don’t want to be the expiration -
I’ll try my best and do the exclamation.

Slowly get in trance
music and lyric by K (August 1995)
K: programming, synths, vocoder

Movin’
music and lyrics by K (February 1995)
K: programming, synths, voices

Interlude
music and lyrics by K (November 1994)
K: programming, synths, voice
yesterday i was sitting on the garden fence i looked to the sky i was
watching the birds since 6 o’clock in the morning and i thought
“why do i not play this thingy called a trombone and blow it into the fields
just on my own“ the reason is obvious cause i don’t play that fucking trom-
bone. Would you like to drink another cup of coffee? Everybody’s waiting.
The sun was setting and dark clouds brought some heavy rain
everybody was rushing home and all of a sudden the phone rang twice
and i didn’t answer. So i tried to say what i experienced that day but now
it’s time to say goodbye.

Farewell summer (Small concerto in c-minor)
music and lyrics by K (October 1995)
K: programming, synths, vocal
Evening is falling earlier every day but still these are the warmer days
Do you remember the time in the green field we were making love and
were hoping it would last forever. Down in the city the people parade,
but me i’d rather like to sing this song. Cause everytime a love fails is
everytime a summer ends.
The ending of a summer is not quite clear, not everytime it rains autumn
must be here, but will you remember the time in the green field, we were
making love and were hoping it would last forever.

Bahnfahrt
music and lyrics by K (September 1995)
K: piano and vocal
Dä Zug dä bliibt nöd schtaa, a däre Station wo ich ha welle usegaa
hey schtaabliibä! Drum fahr ich jetzt eifach no zue, aber irgendwie da
laats mer doch kei Rue, hey schtaabliibä!
