My interest in the Internet was awakened in me by my son, who organized our access to a local provider, built up his side and later also Domain. Fascinated with the possibility of global contacts, I decided also to create my own home page, using it to publish my thoughts and various ideas in the hope of a return echo from WWW.

Origin, hobby, An attempt to contact Plaszczyks, Tyms and other unknown to me relatives.
I am Polish by birth. Since 1969 I have resided  in Switzerland. Apart from my grandmother who died 1955 and my parents, I never knew any relatives with the name Plaszczyk.  When I lived in Poland I came across the name Plaszczyk only
once in an excerpt from an article in the "Gazeta Zielonogorska" concerning
lifting weights. Recently via the Internet, I found over twenty documents containing this name or a similar form of it - Paszczyk.

I'm a medical doctor and work as a general practitioner in Oberwil BL in Switzerland. My hobbies are photography, flying and paragliding. A particular favorite of mine is sailing but, unfortunately, I have no time to enjoy it.
